Specialty products and games vary based on quantities and components ordered, and we can provide these estimates once we know your specific needs.
Overseas production turnaround times (depending upon your specific order) range from 10–15 weeks from press approval date via sea shipping. Air-shipping all or part of your order cuts shipping times almost in half, however, can be costly. These time estimates may vary based on components and quantities needed.
What are Shuffled Ink's order cancellation and return policies?
Due to the customization of our products, all sales are final. Once an order is paid for and production has begun, we do not allow cancellations or returns of orders. Thus, we encourage all of our clients to make sure that everything with your orders are exactly how you want them – review your artwork proofs thoroughly and double check to make sure all details on your invoice are exactly as you wish.
If you have paid for an order and decide you no longer wish to proceed, contact us ASAP to confirm whether production has begun. If we have not printed your job yet, we will of course refund your job in full. If we have printed your job, we unfortunately cannot allow for a cancellation or return.
If you receive your order and there is a production related defect, you have 7 days to bring any issue to our attention so that we may address the problem and remedy it appropriately. We fully stand by our work, and are confident that the quality of your product will be phenomenal. Having said that, mistakes do happen. When they do, we will do everything possible to make it right for you!
Where are Shuffled Ink's products manufactured?
Most orders are produced at our printing and manufacturing facility in Orlando, Florida. The majority of our board games, high-volume playing cards and card games are produced at our overseas facility in Nantong, China. This allows us to offer you the best of both worlds: great products at great prices. In most cases, you can choose where you would prefer production to take place.
Can I use my own shipping account?
Yes, you may. However, our cost of packaging and labor are usually added to most orders. This cost would be given when your order is placed and invoiced.
What are your payment terms?
For domestically produced orders, we require 100% payment prior to beginning production. For orders that will be produced at our overseas facility, we require 50% deposit at initial proof approval, and the remaining 50% is due prior to your order shipping. Unless expressly agreed upon otherwise, orders will be placed on hold and not ship unless payment is received in full. Other terms can be discussed – just call us and let us know your needs and we are happy to work with you.
What payment options are available?
We accept payment by credit card, ACH, bank wire or check. While we gladly accept all major credit cards, please note there will be a credit card processing charge of 3.5% for any invoice of $2,000 or more.
Do you have templates?
Yes, we have several custom art templates on our website. If you do not see what you need, let us know and we will send it to you ASAP.
Does Shuffled Ink provide proofs?
Absolutely! We provide complementary digital proofs that require your approval before we begin production on any order. We also have domestic hard-copy proofs that are available upon request for a $35.00 including standard shipping and our overseas hard-copy-proofs are $175.00 plus shipping. Clients are 100% responsible for the accuracy of ALL content on final proofs.
How many colors can I use?
Our full-color pricing includes all CMYK colors. Specialty inks or applications are available as well.
Will I be charged for graphic art support?
The first hour of graphic art support is completely complimentary. Each hour thereafter will be billed at $45.00 per hour, unless otherwise specified by your customer service representative or graphic artist.
Are there any fees I should be aware of?
At Shuffled Ink, there are NO setup, rush or added color fees! Sales tax, however, applies to all deliveries within the state of Florida. Shipping and handling costs are determined by each order’s specifications, size and delivery location. Please note that if you use your own shipping company, there may be added costs for materials and labor associated with packaging (this cost would be communicated prior to your order being placed). While we gladly accept all major credit cards, please note there will be a credit card processing charge of 3.5% for any invoice of $2,000 or more.
Can I create plastic playing cards?
Yes, we produce PVC and plastic cards ranging from 28 mm to 35 mm in thickness. There is a minimum order quantity of 1,000 decks for plastic or PVC playing cards, and these are currently produced at our overseas facility. It is best to avoid gradient colors when ordering PVC or plastic cards. Also, lead times are 30 to 45 days longer, as these materials have very short shelf lives prior to being printed upon, cut and coated.
What's the difference between "smooth" and "linen" finishes?
The smooth finish is just as it sounds: smooth! The linen (embossed) finish has a textured cross-stitched pattern that is both visible and tangible for players to see and feel. High-resolution and detailed artwork (such as pictures and photos), as well as text-sensitive material, usually print best on cards with a smooth finish.
What's the difference between 300gsm (Premium) and 310gsm (Casino)?
First, let’s break down what GSM means. GSM stands for grams per square meter; meaning if you had a square meter of card stock, the weight in grams is the GSM. The 310 GSM option is a slightly denser and thicker card, allowing for greater “snap-back”. Both of our paper stock options contain a black core, which is a lining built inside of the card stock that limits the light that may pass through the cards, which is an extra precaution that casinos take when using paper playing cards. The black core lining also contributes to the fantastic “snap-back”, “shuffle-ability”, and durability of the cards we produce. Both our 300gsm and 310gsm stocks are sourced from the most highly regarded playing card stock manufacturers in the world.
Can I produce non-traditional card sizes and counts?
Yes! We can produce custom playing cards of nearly any shape and size, and there is no limit as to the number of cards either. However, there may be minimum quantity restrictions. Please check with our customer service staff for more information.
What's the difference between poker cards and bridge cards?
Poker cards are 2.5” x 3.5” (W x H) and bridge cards are 2.25” x 3.5” (W x H).
